How we collect, use, and protect the information you entrust to SahlPass.

Last updated: April 2026

Introduction

SahlPass ("we", "us", "our") operates a digital loyalty platform for businesses and their customers. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Information you provide: business details, staff profiles, billing information, and account credentials when you sign up as a merchant.
  • Customer information: limited identifiers such as phone number and pass activation details, provided either by the customer or by the merchant on their behalf.
  • Automatic information: device type, IP address, and usage logs collected by our servers, cookies, and analytics tools to keep the service secure and reliable.
How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the SahlPass platform and its features.
  • Issue and manage digital wallet passes, process redemptions, and keep balances up to date.
  • Handle billing, invoicing, and subscription management for merchants.
  • Communicate with you about your account, service updates, and support requests.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share limited information only:

  • With the merchant whose pass you activate — so they can honor redemptions and provide service.
  • With trusted service providers (hosting, payments, wallet platforms, email delivery) strictly to operate SahlPass.
  • When required by law, regulation, or a valid legal request.
Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. Redemption and invoice records may be retained for longer periods to meet tax and accounting requirements.

Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — encrypted connections, hashed credentials, access controls, and regular reviews — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your data, subject to legal retention requirements.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing activities.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@sahlpass.com.

Children

SahlPass is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice inside your dashboard before they take effect.
